Domestic Water
2,916’ 12"-16” CML/C and 3,500’ 12”-16" DIP pipeline and appurtenances with restoration.
T.E. Roberts, Inc. installed 4", 6", 8", 10", and 12" water main and constructed 4", 6", and 12" water valves in a very busy part of Balboa Island in Newport Beach. The project also involved open-cut method to install the C900 PVC DR14 water pipeline, and maintenance of a dewatering system throughout the project due to encountering groundwater during excavation.
Recycled Water
This project consisted of installing a new surge control system with 7,500-gallon horizontal pressure surge tank, and replacement of all designated RP-5 RW campus system buried valves. We also installed new 30” and 16” electromagnetic bi-directional flow meters, new 10” and 12” pressure reducing valves, and all associated pipe, valves and fittings.

This project consisted of converting Dominguez Technology Center’s irrigation system from potable water to recycled water. The 300-acre industrial development consists of 28 individual sites and 8 common areas, all converted during the project. We worked closely with the water district and property owners to minimize service interruptions for residents.
Wastewater
This project consists of installing 9-mile-long 12” HDPE pipeline and appurtenances, jack and bore, 49,435’ of AC pavement removal and replacement, 300,000’ of sawcut removal and disposal, and 842,000’ grind and cap extending from San Bernardino to Riverside County limits.
Sewer
This project included 411’ jack and bore construction of an 18" sewer pipe in a 36" steel casing beneath the I-5 Freeway, upsizing from an existing 12" sewer pipe in a 30" steel casing. Construction also included new 60" sewer manholes, sewer bypass pumping, and miscellaneous site work and landscaping restoration. We worked cooperatively with multiple agencies to complete the project on time.
